Rajani the Raven

This is Rajani the Raven. The name Rajani symbolizes a mysterious persona. In Hindu mythology, Rajani was sometimes used to describe goddesses associated with the night or darkness. Rajani is painted with layers of iridescent acrylic and a pattern of tiny stars. Like her namesakes she is mysterious and she’s inspired by night’s sparkling starlight. She’s carved from found aspen. The claws are vintage victorian furniture feet made of iron with clear glass. She has a twig crown with purple colored flowers , leaves and a wreath of leaves. . The twig crown and leaves are removed for shipping and the sculpture requires simple assembly.
